University Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint this weekend in an effort against drunk driving.
The sobriety checkpoint will be located on Maple Drive, just south of Fletcher Avenue. Officers will be conducting the checkpoint Sunday from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. Those who are found to be impaired will face arrest and prosecution. Officers will also be driving around campus to pull over traffic violators.

There should be a checkpoint every day outside Greek Village

I think that it would have been a better idea if the checkpoint was reported on after it was held. Then you could have reported the UP's results

While not telling the public about a DUI checkpoint may make more sense, it is actually a law that the police must inform the public of checkpoints and areas of increased saturation. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department does so by posting the dates and areas affected on their website (see the link titled "Operation 3-D"). University Police also posts this information on their website.

My post was not directed to Drew ,my post was directed to to M.L. who obvioulsly thinks its funny that he'll never be caught. by the Police

Sara, I think that you missed the point of Drew's post. Drew actually wants the police to catch and punish drunk drivers. If media tell people about the checkpoint ahead of time, this gives prospective drivers the chance to find out, and still get drunk but simply avoid the advertised checkpoint.
