The Bush administration has placed an almost two-year moratorium on solar-energy projects on public land, citing a need for studies regarding "the environmental impact the solar projects will have on land in Arizona, Nevada, California and other western states," Democracy Now! reported Monday.

The Faculty Senate has created a task force to review USF's administrative structure to detect inefficiencies and create a more streamlined system in light of $50.4-million budget cuts.
While the details of how the task force will conduct its reviews are not yet determined, the decision to look higher up the University hierarchy for ineffectiveness and wasteful spending is fitting and necessary given the financial straits in which USF is confined.

There is an abundance of imaginative stories about big oil tycoons with pointy mustaches and fat cigars locking away alternative fuel scientists in massive underground dungeons to preserve high gas prices. Though such stories provide us with antagonists to target on picket signs, they turn our attention away from one undeniable fact: American consumers are significantly unprepared to utilize alternative fuels.

College should be a place of higher education that challenges your mind and opinions on life. While this is true for other institutions such as Georgia Tech and UGA, however, it does not apply to ABAC.
In college level classes, there is supposed to be debate between the professors and the students, yet in a class at ABAC you will find students not participating in discussions and making up excuses on why their papers are not turned in on the due date.
